Considered an “Iconic View Estate”, Casa Akai features over 180 feet of beautiful ocean frontage on a lot coveted for its serene privacy. One of the few houses on the tip of the Punta Mita peninsula, the envious location offers extensive ocean views of the Marietas Islands with spectacular sunrise and sunset vistas.
It was a must to keep the existing architecture from the Architect Jose Iturbe with the Architect Guillermo Michel’s intervention. Then the addition of 3 new spaces in separated basements: a Game Room, a Home Theater, and a Bar.The renewal of the existing 8 bedrooms with different ambiances and the pool extension alone the beachfront bedrooms.The house is designed to aged naturally. The fluid mood of the basic design turns the spaces into a relaxed experience and each area has its own character and mood.
An impressive entryway through the lushly landscaped palm tree courtyard, complete with a tranquil water and art feature, is a welcoming oasis leading to the expansive living spaces, eight spacious bedrooms, full gym and spa, service room, and beautiful rooftop patio lounge area above the master suites. The Master Suites feel like a home unto themself, with a spacious private terrace to start the day with your morning coffee or enjoy a nightcap under the stars.
The main living area of this extraordinary villa is an appointed, open-concept space with a double-height custom palapa ceiling that opens directly out to the private infinity-edge pool for a seamless indoor/outdoor living and a panoramic view of the sun setting into the Pacific Ocean
