From the moment of entry, the design establishes a dialogue between bold architectural gestures and thoughtful detailing. Vertical black fluted paneling defines the foyer, concealing functional storage while framing a built-in bench for everyday use. Beyond, a sculptural open-riser staircase rises in front of double-height windows, transforming circulation into an architectural centerpiece animated by shifting light throughout the day.

The heart of the home is the open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area. Matte black cabinetry and integrated appliances create a strong architectural frame for the kitchen, where a striking marble backsplash and waterfall island serve as both functional elements and design statements. Pendant lighting adds scale and rhythm, while wide-plank wood floors and warm textures ground the space in comfort. The adjoining living area continues this balance, anchored by a sleek fireplace wall and layered with neutral, textural furnishings. Large sliding doors expand the experience outward, connecting to an outdoor lounge and dining terrace with uninterrupted lake views.

Throughout, materiality plays a central role in unifying the design. Contrasts of black steel, warm oak, marble, and plaster create a palette that is simultaneously modern and inviting. Each element was selected for both aesthetic and tactile quality, ensuring the home feels as livable as it is striking.

Special attention was given to moments of luxury integrated seamlessly into the design. A concealed home bar, framed in dark paneling with marble accents, transforms entertaining into a curated experience. Every detail—from concealed storage to intimate lounge groupings—was designed to serve both function and lifestyle.

Vista Modern is ultimately a study in contrasts: bold yet restrained, expansive yet intimate, minimal yet richly layered. Its success lies in how it celebrates views and natural light while offering a warm, livable backdrop for everyday life. Through the collaboration of architecture and interior design, the home embodies a modern vision rooted in place—delivering a residence that is timeless, refined, and deeply connected to its setting.
