MORH Hotel is a skyscraper designed to accommodate personnel of Ministry of Defence of Republic of Croatia. The location is in the centre of Zagreb at the very frequent and important position. Faced with numerous requirements on a relatively small plot, the approach was to elongate the building form and leave parterre as open as possible. Not
only is it opening space to draw in fluidity of urban space, it is highlighting historicist buildings that are surrounding the skyscraper. In the wider area building is creating balance with another vertical building diametrically opposite to the Hotel in the same building block.

The skyscraper itself is designed in a way to soften its shape in the surrounding area and the vista of the city itself. The building is defined by multiple units, rounded shape determined by different sections and numerous openings on the monolith facade, where each opening is treated as loggia or a window. All units have bilateral orientation. The facade is designed as membrane of pixelated stylised camouflage pattern.
