This new intervention addresses the challenge of balancing the industrial character of the context with a serene environment focused on connecting with nature.

Carefully integrated into one of the existing buildings, the design prioritizes the preservation of one of the few green areas within the complex. The new volume is strategically placed alongside this space, creating a microclimate that enhances the internal façade and establishes a fluid dialogue between architecture and the landscape. The proposal emphasizes lightness and transparency through a modular structure made of CLT (Cross Laminated Timber), contrasting with the solidity of the adjacent building and redefining the perception of the industrial environment.

The façade becomes a central design element, offering numerous functional and aesthetic advantages. The façade system provides excellent weather resistance, filters UV rays, and evenly diffuses natural light, as well as being lightweight and highly durable. Its translucency achieves the perfect balance between light entry and thermal dynamics, contributing to an energy-efficient space with a comfortable and harmonious work environment.

Lyncott introduces a milestone in Mexican architecture by becoming the first building with an all-wood CLT structure in the country. This innovative and sustainable material not only offers lightness and strength but also helps mitigate climate change due to its capability to absorb CO₂ and its high level of thermal insulation, which reduces the need for artificial climate control and saves energy.

The result is a conscious and sustainable workspace where light and nature become essential components of the working experience. Lyncott stands as a design reference that combines technological innovation, environmental sensitivity, and a human-centered approach, redefining what it means to inhabit an industrial environment.
