The primary objectives of the project include:
- Creating a Flexible Workspace: Design agile environments that accommodate various work styles, including collaborative spaces for teamwork and private areas for focused tasks.
- Maximising Natural Light: Utilise strategic architectural elements to enhance natural light penetration, improving ambiance and employee morale while reducing reliance on artificial lighting.
- Incorporating Ergonomic Principles: Select furniture and fixtures that promote comfort and support employee well-being, including adaptable workstations that allow for both seated and standing positions.
- Implementing Smart Technology: Integrate advanced building systems to optimise energy efficiency and enhance user experience through automated climate and lighting controls.

Design Elements:
– Spatial Layout: The design incorporates an open-plan layout that promotes communication and collaboration. Meeting rooms and breakout spaces are strategically located to facilitate teamwork and spontaneous interactions, while quiet zones are designed to minimize distractions for individual tasks.

– Colour and Material Palette: A modern colour scheme that aligns with Sika’s corporate identity includes warm tones and sleek finishes. The use of sustainable materials throughout the office will enhance aesthetic appeal without compromising environmental responsibility.
– Furniture Selection: Ergonomic furniture choices are paramount, ensuring that employees are comfortable and supported. Modular units allow for quick reconfigurations of spaces, adapting to the changing needs of the business.
– Acoustic Solutions: To prevent noise distractions, acoustic elements will be incorporated into the design, ensuring that employees can work efficiently without interruptions.

Sustainability Commitment:
Sustainability is embedded in every aspect of the project. The thoughtful selection of materials, energy-efficient systems, and environmentally friendly practices align with both Liqui Group’s and Sika’s dedication to reducing ecological footprints. This approach not only minimises waste but also creates a healthier workspace for employees.

Innovation:
The design reflects a forward-thinking philosophy, integrating cutting-edge technology that supports a modern work environment. By implementing smart building solutions, the office adapts to usage patterns, enhancing energy efficiency and user comfort.
