The aim for this design was to rethink home and the building blocks on which we put them together. The old way of thinking and doing regarding the built world is no longer viable for the long-term health of people and planet.

The materials and way we have used them, may have allowed our homes to be built faster, but they have also made our living environments unhealthy. So the question we ask and have answered in this design is, what if our homes give back to us as much as we have poured into creating them?
PROJECT
This project is an invitation into a glimpse of what home should be. The seamless integration of modern design, organic elements, and the balancing act of bringing the outdoors in and indoors out. Creating living environments that heighten our experience and senses through thoughtful design, quality material selections, and a deep connection to nature.
When you first enter the home, the main area embodies the elegance of contemporary design, with organic shapes, and dark textured walls flanking a fireplace that provide ambience and warmth. A sculptural live-edge like coffee table adds visual interest, while elements like potted plants bring nature into the home, and the carefully placed and selected contemporary and mid-century modern pieces create a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. Setting the tone for what is to come.
Throughout the interior of the home, the base are neutral tones and natural materials to create a warm and earthy atmosphere. Strategically placed large windows and doors to bring in an abundance of natural light to help reduce the need for artificial lighting while enhancing the connection with the outdoors. The design was thoughtfully curated to encourage the balance of aesthetics, functionality, and practicality, blurring the lines of where nature begins and ends.
The design places a strong emphasis on sustainability, with energy efficient systems and encouraging the use of passive energy consumption. The use of green walls, indoor gardens, and natural ventilation enhances the indoor air quality, leaving a commitment to wellness and environmental responsibility.
This modern organic home is the example of what everyday living should be, balancing the feminine and masculine energy found in nature, with a luxurious and organic tone that makes comfort and sustainability, the priority.
