Welcome to the unofficial PC game guide "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Hard Evidence". This is the fifth (if you include "CSI: Miami") installment of the CSI series. Once again, you will have to solve five different CSI cases. This guide contains a very detailed description of all available scenarios. First of all, I showed you where to look for evidence. You will also learn how to assemble new objects and how to process them in the CSI laboratory. It is also very important to ask a lot of questions to potential suspects.
Be sure to read this guide to find out if you have used all the available dialog box options. I also recommend following my instructions from the very beginning. Otherwise, you may have trouble identifying what exactly you missed.
In my guide, I used three colors to point out some of the most important things.:
The red color is directly related to the collection of evidence. This happens throughout each mission. You will find most of the items near the crime scene or when searching the apartments of potential suspects. In addition, some parts of the physical evidence will be transferred to you automatically. This usually happens when you visit Robbins at the morgue or Brass at his office.
The blue color indicates potential suspects in each case, but I have used this color only once - when you first meet such a person. Obviously, you'll meet these suspects again later, as each scenario progresses.
Last but not least, we have green sections of text. This color was used to show you which hardware you need to take from the taskbar. This is a CSI game, and you can't take everything with your bare hands. You will have to follow a certain procedure.

If you've played a CSI game before, you should know how it works. This first scenario will start with a short briefing. You'll have to listen to what Griss has to say. You will also learn about your partner in this case. It's going to be Nick Stokes. Once this conversation is over, choose the first location on the PDA Alley: Crime Scene. Don't worry that you won't be allowed to look inside the car right away, because we will solve this problem as soon as it is successfully towed to the CSI garage.
