RTF Awards 2026 · The Jury

Twenty-four schools of thought.
One standard: the work itself.

Entries are anonymised and scored by a 24-member international panel of professors and practitioners spanning four continents — from Los Angeles and São Paulo to Helsinki, Rome, Abuja and Tuskegee.

Jury members — 2026 cycle

Each juror reviews entries independently; scores are combined across the panel, so no single perspective decides an outcome.

THE WORK IN FRONT OF THEM

Judged on merit — across every scale and style.

From city blocks to single rooms, the panel reads every entry through the same four criteria.

Judged blind. On purpose.

Anonymised entries

Sheets and briefs carry a Registration ID only — no studio names, no logos. Jurors evaluate the work without knowing whose it is.

Independent scoring

Jurors score separately before results are combined, preventing any single voice from dominating the panel.

Conflict recusal

Jurors do not score entries where a professional or institutional connection exists.

Global panel

A 24-member panel across the Americas, Europe and Africa reads each cycle through genuinely different architectural cultures.

300+ jurors across previous editions

The 2026 panel continues a jury tradition that has included academics and practitioners from UCLA, Aalto University, the Manchester School of Architecture, Qatar University, SUTD Singapore, the University of Arizona, and the studio of Satoshi Okada — among more than 300 jurors across twenty editions.
