The design concept of OR Cabos draws inspiration from the structure of a fan. This gesture gives the project its identity, fostering both intimacy among the residential units and a strategic orientation toward the landscape views—horizontal and vertical—of Baja California Sur.

The spatial arrangement prioritizes terraces and uninterrupted views. It favors the entry of natural light without excessive heat gain while ensuring privacy for each residence. From this privileged setting, residents are immersed in a continuous visual dialogue—a tension between the desert and the sea.
Walls projected into the air fragment the spatial composition, blurring the boundaries between ground and slab, between slab and air, between interior and exterior. Circulation and communal spaces exist in a threshold—not completely enclosed, yet not entirely open. This intermediate state embraces the region’s warm climate and promotes a dialogue between architecture and context, between the natural terrain and the building materials. Pigmented concrete echoes the tones of the landscape and the color of local stone, merging the project with its natural surroundings.
Circulation routes were conceived to flow as the backbone of the complex, establishing a delicate balance between openness and shelter at every branch of the project. Complementary recreational areas—pool, terraces, gym, gardens, and rooftops—are carefully integrated into the topography and the architectural scheme.
Our intention is rooted in the conviction that architecture must provide high-quality housing solutions—principles often overlooked in the real estate sector but consistently upheld in our practice. The project’s approach highlights the site’s natural beauty and promotes a meaningful harmony between architecture, nature, and habitat.
