Federal Street Renovation By Michael Hennessey Architecture

A renovation to a commercial office building located near South Park in San Francisco’s SOMA district.  The existing building is a concrete framed structure that was originally built in 1923.  The scope of this project is to renovate the exterior of the building, the lobby, elevator, restrooms, and corridors.  The new steel canopy draws visitors into a wood-lined lobby space.  The wood panels serve to create an inviting visual warmth within the stoic grey frame of the concrete structure.
Type of Project:  Commercial Renovation
