The house is located on a raised site near the Gulf of Finland. A larch-wood terrace connects the main house to the annex, framing a small courtyard where fruit-bearing plants will be added. The linear layout responds to the site’s master plan, ensuring that all interior spaces enjoy views of the pine grove and the sea.
The main house accommodates two bedrooms with built-in closets, a study, kitchen, living room, bathroom, guest toilet, entrance hall, and walk-in wardrobe. The annex features a kitchen-dining space with a wood-fired stove and a compact bathroom.
The project employs high-quality, eco-conscious materials. The exterior is clad in cedar siding, custom-milled exclusively for Delo House. The architectural design is based on standard material dimensions to streamline construction and minimize waste, ensuring resource efficiency. Delo approaches housebuilding with the same precision and care it applies to furniture design — many structural elements were specially developed and fabricated for this project.
The house stands on a reinforced concrete slab, with hydronic underfloor heating embedded in the screed. Interiors feature cedar cladding and terrazzo tile flooring. The building is equipped with a smart ventilation system, and the windows are protected with impact-resistant film.
All rooms include built-in wardrobes and kitchens, custom-made according to the studio’s drawings. Freestanding furniture and household items are Delo’s own designs, produced in small series. One standout feature is a set of experimental dining chairs, developed in collaboration with Studio Eburet — their 3D-printed seats are made from recycled plastic, reflecting the studio’s commitment to sustainable and responsible design.
