Anagram Columbus Circle | INC Architecture & Design

Through collaboration, we thoughtfully designed and created the Anagram Columbus Circle concierge desk. The Anagram residential building stands tall with a commanding presence akin to a modern Flatiron for Uptown, presenting a heroic and iconic form on Columbus Circle.

This architectural marvel’s imposing facade resonates in the concierge desk, where a deliberate softening mirrors the tower’s softened contours. Carved from a single, substantial mass of warm oak butcher block, the desk emerges as a testament to meticulous craftsmanship, executed by a collective of skilled artisans.

Its sculptural form serves as a functional focal point for the lobby and seamlessly integrates with the building’s ethos, echoing its shapes and details throughout. Through thoughtful carving, coving, and shaping, the desk attains both aesthetic allure and practical accessibility, embodying the essence of the Anagram’s interior design and architectural character.

Each curve and indentation speak to a harmonious dialogue between form and function, culminating in a piece that serves its purpose and elevates the entire space with its presence. In the hands of these talented craftsmen and designers, the concierge desk transcends its utilitarian role to become a symbol of artistic expression and architectural cohesion.
