Overview Transgender discrimination  is the civil right issue in our generation.  .  .  !!!       * Joe Biden
In India we find people are still sceptical when it comes to offering a job to a transgender. It to provide a ground for the ‘third sex’ to cultivate skills that would not only help them stand up for themselves financially but to serve as a platform for them to become a part of society.

Master plan: The idea aims to create a opportunity centre for the deprived in a Metropolitan City. In this scenario, Powai area in Mumbai was chosen as the target area for recruitment. The main reason is the prevalence of transgender in the community and the general lack of quality of life.

Entrance: The ramp is designed in an angular fashion and it leads to a passage that gets narrower as one walks through it. The ramp induces a sense of fear due to height and the narrow passage makes one realize the pressure that society puts a transgender through.

Workshop: An inclined ramp acts as a bridge connecting spot (designed to aid the physically challenged people) and is structurally supported by high tensioned steel wires. The angular bridge helps to bring about a sense of fear with an associated anticipation of what is to come.

Commercial: Behind the workshop there is a terrace space which can be utilised as an open forum for business activitie… The person is expected to feel excitement as he makes his way through the maze and the final visual cues is to serve as a surprise.
Performance Centre: On the ground level there is an open lawn which visually connects to the stage. The seating unit consists of a smooth surface with beams penetrating through the structure. The smooth surface indicates the delicate situation of a transgender and the beams are the notions of society that puncture the surface of the structure.

Admin; Centralized courtyard with a backstage for performance activities. Additionally spaces are present to accommodate visitors. A parallel passage is present inclusive of climatic protection that leads to the housing spaces from the admin wing. The passage to housing aims at building a sense of trust in the residents.
Museum : The plan is designed in a narrow zigzag manner. On every corner along space a statue of a transgenders are placed with a mirror aligned behind it.
The mirror is used to make a comparison of oneself with the transgender statue standing beside. This is to instil a sense of disgust in the person.
